Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer for Veolia’s Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) business, Philippe Dartienne is responsible for partnering with the operating teams to drive the financial performance, investment decisions, analysis and reporting, and related finance processes for the organization.

With nearly 30 years of financial and operational experience, Philippe has held management positions in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States. A majority of his career has been spent with various entities and partners of Veolia. Before joining WTS, Philippe was the Chief Financial Officer for Veolia’s Resource & Recovery business in France, where he managed a large team responsible for finance, IT, procurement and fleet management. Prior to that role, Philippe was Chief Financial Officer and Operational Manager for United Water (now Veolia North America), where he oversaw procurement, IT, real estate and rates negotiation. He served as Deputy Director of Financial Control and Long-term Planning for GDF Veolia; was the Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Director for Tractebel Energia; and served as Head of Financial Control and Long-term Planning for Veolia Environnement. Philippe spent the beginning of his career working for several multinational companies, including Citibank, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
