Overview

Our mission is to help lithium producers overcome challenges by developing and optimizing the production process to reliably meet production targets. We have the capability to design and supply complete processing systems, from brine or leach solutions to final product, including the following technologies:

  • Lithium Purification Membrane System
  • Impurity removal using Ion Exchange (IX)Electrodialysis (ED), precipitation, etc.
  • Lithium salts crystallization and
  • re-crystallization
  • Lithium brine concentration
  • By-products recovery and crystallization
  • Solid/liquid separation
  • Lithium product and by-product drying
  • Solids handling and bagging systems

Veolia also offers a variety of equipment and chemical technologies for process make-up water treatment as well as industrial water and wastewater treatment for plant or construction camp facilities. Veolia can also provide mobile trailer treatment systems for rapid response or temporary solutions.

Processing Capabilities

  • By-Products: Sodium Sulfate (Na2SO4), Potassium Sulfate (K2SO4), Sodium Chloride (NaCl), Potassium Chloride (KCl), Boric Acid (HBO), and others.
Integrated Flowsheets

Our broad portfolio of technologies enables the design of integrated flowsheets for processing of lithium brine and leach solutions. Having the process technologies inhouse allows for optimization of the entire flowsheet and results in the lowest project costs. Whether treating a brine direct from the salar or source or a pregnant leach solution (PLS) from the mine and beneficiation, Veolia can provide the complete processing solution.
