 ELEVATE is a unique early career program designed to enhance the learning experience of participants by developing their skills, knowledge, and confidence. As full-time employees, participants will gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the business, laying a solid foundation for their career within Veolia.

The ELEVATE program is designed to nurture motivated individuals who are ready to think creatively, share innovative ideas, and tackle new challenges. It offers a career path for talented individuals, providing them with industry-specific training, professional development, and networking opportunities.

ELEVATE is ideal for early career professionals who are keen on advancing their career and gaining a comprehensive experience across the organization. The program includes development courses and business overviews, group coaching, an assigned mentor, and an innovation project.

 

What it means for you

Group Coaching

You will have the opportunity to be part of group coaching sessions facilitated by Dale Carnegie. These sessions are important for understanding your experience, providing guided support to address your challenges and renew your commitments.

Business Overview Workshops

In addition to your professional development workshops focusing on essential skills, you will participate in business overview sessions presented by senior leaders in the organization. These sessions will give you insights to different parts of the business and will give you an understanding of where you and your team sit in the bigger picture.

Mentorship

A few months into your journey you will be assigned a mentor based on your individual development needs. Mentoring links employees with experienced professionals for career development. A mentor facilitates personal and professional growth in an employee by sharing the knowledge and insights that have been learned through the years.

Innovation Project

All participants will be given an innovation project assignment project teams or individually which will solve challenges or create positive changes for continuous improvement within the business. Project impacts may include:

  • Increases Productivity
  • Increases Retention
  • Improves workforce performance
  • Promotes diversity, equity, & inclusion
Graduation and Final Presentations

At the completion of your program journey, you and your fellow ECP's will present your keytakeaways, challenges and lessons learnt in the 18-month program. This will be an opportunity to showcase your achievements and obstacles to your senior leaders, managers, buddies, HRMs and mentors that formed part of your journey.

As part of the Elevate program, you will have the opportunity to travel 3-4 times with your cohort to understand and see parts of the business.

Eligibility for the ELEVATE program includes:

  • Graduation within the past three years with a bachelor's degree (master's degree may be considered if appropriate with open role)
  • High-level of academic achievement
  • Up to 3 years of experience post-graduation
  • Ability to start and attend program orientation and introduction in-person
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at the time of hire
