Please be reminded that in accordance with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (“VWTS”) Terms and Conditions, all VWTS entities and affiliates worldwide require Certificates of Origin (“COO”) for all shipments. For your reference at the following https://www.watertechnologies.com/supplier-documents, is a sample Certificates of Origin with the requisite information in a format acceptable to VWTS. While VWTS suppliers/vendors may use alternate forms, at a minimum, the following information must include:
• Name and address of Exporter/Seller
• Description of the Goods (including Veolia or Vendor Part Number)
• Country of Origin
• Province, State, Region, or Address of Actual Manufacturer
• Free Trade Preference Criterion (if applicable)
• When appropriate, Mill Certificates may be required
Furthermore, VWTS’s Terms and Conditions require that suppliers/vendors provide proof of origin and that goods be marked properly for import. Failure to provide the required information or to properly mark the goods for importation may cause shipments to be unduly delayed or denied entry.
The Certificate of Origin should be forwarded to Veolia WTS along with the other required Shipping Documents, which include: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Importer Security Filing (ISF) forms, and Certificates of Analysis.
VWTS will NOT be responsible for merchandise denied entry by the customs agency of any country or any resulting charges, including but not limited to demurrage charges, customs duties, excise taxes, freight charges, brokerage charges, or vendor invoices, all of which shall be the responsibility of the supplier/vendor.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued partnership. If you have any further questions, please contact your Veolia Procurement Representative.
