Aquaray S - Horizontal Open Channel UV Disinfection System

Horizontal open channel UV disinfection system, ideal for small facilities

The Aquaray S Ultraviolet (UV) System represents the latest advancement in horizontal UV disinfection technology. This new generation system is designed with the option for 2, 4 or 6 vertical lamps with proven low-pressure high output for efficient and effective treatment. Ideal for small flow wastewater applications, it provides up to 3 million gallons per day (MGD) of water consumption. This modular system offers easy maintenance and a variety of optional features to enhance performance. The Aquaray S combines efficient disinfection with user-friendly design, making it an ideal choice for smaller wastewater treatment facilities seeking advanced UV technology.

Overview

Veolia’s Aquaray S combines cutting-edge electronic ballast and communication technologies with high-performance, durable low-pressure lamps. This advanced system represents a significant step forward in UV disinfection technology for water treatment applications. The power supplies for the lamps are located inside a sealed aluminum extrusion directly on top of the module. This Power Bar also handles the lamp controls plus data exchange with the Power Distribution and Data Center (PDDC), or communicates with an optional Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control system. The self-supporting modular units are placed into the wastewater channel (concrete or stainless steel) in multiple configurations to provide the required level of disinfection.

Applications

  • Wastewater
