Integrated Cleaning System

Overview

The Aquaray 40HO vertical lamp ultraviolet disinfection system has been designed to provide disinfection for wastewater plants within a small footprint. The germicidal effect of the UV light inactivates most microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites, while eliminating the need for dangerous chemicals.

UV disinfection is particularly effective against chlorine resistant microorganisms and is an ideal solution for reuse applications.

Integrated Cleaning System

The Aquaray 40HO UV Systems utilize 40 low-pressure high- output,150 watt lamps powered by electronic ballasts to generate germicidal wavelengths of the UV spectrum. The lamps are inserted in a quartz sleeve and isolated from the wastewater while delivering the require effluent inactivation. UV sensors are installed to monitor the UV intensity of the lamps to consistently provide the proper intensity is delivered.
