Conductivity

Whether you are measuring conductivity for compliance with USP <645>, for point-of-use water system troubleshooting, or for cleaning validation, Sievers Analyzers provide options that increase efficiency and provide more powerful data.

Streamline your compendia testing with Sievers Lean Lab

Using a single sample vial, the Sievers M9 can simultaneously analyze and report two discrete results for TOC and conductivity for compliance with USP <643> and <645>. Compared to manual conductivity testing, using the Sievers M9 can save time, eliminate sample-handling issues, enhance data integrity, and minimize potential failures.

Experience the power of combined conductivity and TOC for cleaning

Both TOC and conductivity are well-suited analytical methods for cleaning validation. Using Sievers Analyzers, you can measure TOC and conductivity simultaneously and cover virtually all potential contaminants and compounds that may be present- whether organic or inorganic. Plus, you'll have even more powerful data analytics.

Sievers TOC Analyzers for conductivity

In addition to quantitative testing of TOC for compliance with USP <643>, the M9 Analyzer has an option for simultaneous Stage 1 conductivity testing for compliance with USP <645>. The automation of this technology makes compliance testing fast, efficient, and reliable using the M9 conductivity cell, which meets or exceeds all instrument specifications set forth in USP <645>. The M9 measures non-temperature compensated sample conductivity and temperature, and it provides the necessary acceptance criteria tables for USP, EP, CP, and IP.

The Sievers 500 RL meets all USP <645> Stage 1 regulatory monitoring requirements, reporting raw conductivity, temperature, and temperature compensated conductivity. Procedures compliant with USP <645> enable temperature accuracy verification.

The 500 RL also supports conductivity testing in accordance with JP <2.51>.

DUCT Vials

How to get the most out of your measurements

Performing simultaneous Stage 1 conductivity and TOC from the same vessel requires that the vessel not contribute in any significant way to either conductivity or TOC. Sievers Dual Use Conductivity and TOC (DUCT) vials are designed to minimize both ionic and organic contamination with the Sievers M9 to automate the testing for compliance with <643> and <645>.

Sievers DUCT vials have a proprietary coating to eliminate conductivity contributions from the vial surfaces and specialty caps to minimize the diffusion of CO2 into the sample during storage. These vials are proven to not only be suitable for conductivity and TOC testing, but superior to many of the established vessels used today.
