Water reuse technology saves European packaging mill €500k per annum

An Italian facility that makers containerboard from recycled paper and board was suffering from subsidence and periodic water shortages, so much that local authorities asked the facility to reduce its borehole water consumption. SUEZ created a tertiary effluent reuse solution utilizing ultrafiltration (UF) and electrodialysis reversal (EDR) technology to return highly clarified water back to the process. Read more
